September Events

Saturday September 17th at 1 pm Durso Hills Winery & Bistro will be hosting a Grape Stomp; get your stomping feet ready.  Everyone over the age of 21 who stomps for more than 5 minutes receives a free wine tasting.  Please visit their event page.

Sunday September 18, noon to 6 pm Vance Vineyards will be hosting the American Roots Music Festival.  Live music, no cover charge, and beautiful scenery…please visit their website for more information.

Friday September 23 and Saturday September 24 Fredericktown will be overran by tractors….Yep its Cub-Arama time again.  This year JP Tractors will be celebrating their 10th annual Cub-Arama and our Jaycee Park will be overflowing with tractors.  Come join the fun and check out these tractors and meet all the tractor lovers!  For more information, please visit their website.

Saturday September 24th 9 am at the Fredericktown Hardees, Madison County’s very own Coupon Traders Club will be meeting.  For more information on this fun club, please contact Cindy Besher coupntradersclub@groups.facebook.com or visit their facebook group.

September 30th and October 1 it is Pioneer Days in Marquand bring the family, bring the city folks, and bring yourself to the fun town of Marquand, Missouri for day loaded with fun.  There will be tractors, antique cars, kiddie tractor pull, ladies brace yourself MFPA Timber Sports…  Everyone loves country boys hard at work, Reagan Hotel will be open for tours, The Gallery will present Artist Mike Phelps, Sitze Homestead Cabin will be open, and much more.  For more information, please visit their event page.

American Roots Music Festival

First Friday

Celebrate First Fridays: Art, Movies, Music, Games and Food

On Friday, June 3rd the Fredericktown Revitalization Initiative is hosting the first in a series of outdoor block-party style celebrations at North Main and Wanda Priest Park.

Join us the First Friday of every month, activities start at 6pm in the park. You’ll find live music, Madison County Farmers Market, food provided by the Boy Scouts and other vendors, games (horse shoes, hillbilly golf, and more), and Movies in the Park starting at dark (about 8:30pm). Each month has  a theme and June is Western. There will be a Cowboy Poet and the movie will be “Fifel Goes West”. The art opening is held at The Gallery at 120 West Main.

Art Gallery Grand Opening

Come join us on Friday June 3 from 6pm to 9pm at the First Friday art opening, potluck, music and poetry at The Gallery. The Chamber of Commerce and Fredericktown Revitalization Initiative is proud to be hosting First Friday in the new Gallery at 120 West Main, above the Chamber.

Located on the 2nd floor, above the Chamber of Commerce at 120 West Main, The Gallery will host First Friday art openings showcasing local artists as well as poetry readings, story telling, music and potlucks. First Friday is an ongoing series held the first Friday of every month. As the weather warms we’ll be adding outside activities including live music, movies in the park and more.
