The Gallery
Our new Gallery and Welcome Center, located at 120 West Main, is now open! Current open hours are Tuesday and Friday, 2-6pm.
The Gallery, like our First Friday celebrations, is a cooperative project between the Madison County Chamber and the Fredericktown Revitalization Initiative.
The Gallery hosts a monthly art opening the First Friday of each month as well as open mic nights, craft nights, classes and workshops. The gallery is dedicated to the development and education of an art and cultural community in Fredericktown. Educating the community in the process of making art and having the opportunity to interact with the local artists at the gallery promotes goodwill between the artists and the public.
Our Grand Opening is June 3rd! The opening will feature art from local artist John DeBold, Lesley Ann Martin of Doe Run and Ruth Ann Skaggs. The new art features Martin’s acrylic landscapes and seascapes and Skaggs’ hand woven baskets. Still on display from last month’s opening: Jami Knight, Abi Borrego, Kathryn Buff, Charla Francis, Bill Knight, Corey Warner, Denny Henke and Aime Oberheim.
